Have a chance for visit Baitullah is a dream of all Muslims. Alhamdulillah, Allah gave me a chance to visit Baitullah to perform Umrah with my Mom, and my family. We're performed Umrah together with Arminareka Perdana by Etihad. Overall, Arminareka Perdana services was good and quite satisfying. They gave us a chance to do manasik Umrah, for better understanding about Umrah. 

Also, the hotels that Arminareka Perdana offered to us was quite satisfying and comfortable. In Madinah our hotel was very near from Al Masjid Al Nabawi, which is Dallah Taibah hotel. In Mecca, our hotel was near enough from Masjidil Haram, which is Al Massa hotel. It was quite near but not as near as in Madinah because the hotels in Mecca are more expensive rather than in Madinah and also Jeddah. Then, in Jeddah we slept in Al - Azhar hotel. Well, I can say that this is the best hotel compared when I was in Madinah and Mecca. Because, in Jeddah we can get a very good hotel with the same price in Mecca. Yes, hotels in Jeddah are much cheaper compared to hotels in Mecca. 

What is the definition of Umrah actually? What activities that should be done in Umrah? Well, Umrah is also called as small Hajj. Umrah means:

1. Wearing Ihram after taking miqat

2. Thawaf around the Ka'ba for 7 times 

3. Sa’i between Al-Safa and Al-Marwah for 7 times. Starting in Shofa hill and ends at Marwah hills.

4. Tahallul. Shave all or part of hair for men, and for women only cut their hair merely fingertips.

This was my very first Umrah, and let me tell you a short story about this. When I was in senior high school (around 2012), I talked to my Mom and asked her, why do I have no desire for Umrah so far, then my Mom answered its okay, one day Allah will give you hidayah to perform Umrah. Then, 3 years after that (this year) it feels like I really want to perform Umrah with my Mom. Then I talked to her. She was very happy to hear that, so we registered ourselves in Arminareka Perdana. We will perform Umrah started from February 6th until February 15th 2015. 

Here we go! I'll explain to you about my activities and put some photos started from 6th-15th February 2015. Happy reading!

Day 1 - February 6th 2015

            Jakarta to Abudabi

Day 2 - February 7th 2015 (Madinah)

            From Abudabi to Jeddah, and heading to Madinah. After we cleaned up ourselves, we went to Al Masjid Al  Nabawi. It only took not more than 3 minutes to get there from our hotel. Honestly, when I entered Nabawi mosque, I tried to hold my tears like seriously. Not because I was sad, but I really really touched and thanked to Allah. Finally I can visit Nabawi mosque, where the grave of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was in the Nabawi mosque. For about 19 years, I heard and learn about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from my school, and now Allah gave me a chance to visit his grave, I feel so blessed.

          Then, at night after we had our dinner, we visited the grave of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It was very crowded in there. We have to wait around 2 hours to enter the grave area. And again, we've to survive in the middle of crowded inside. Yes, we're not allowed to see the real grave, especially woman. We did 2 rakaat prayer inside. I also admired with the mosque. Day 3 - February 8th 2015 (Madinah)

        Arrived at Madinah. In this day we went to date palm garden (Kebun Kurma) and Quba Mosque, Ma'la and Jabal Uhud. I forgot to take some photos in these two places, because in Kebun kurma I was too busy to buy some chocolate for souvenir. While in Quba mosque, we're only given a little time in there so there was no time for took photos. But, we did took photos while we're in Ma’la.

Day 4 - February 9th 2015 (Madinah to Mecca)

          This is the last day in Madinah. This afternoon we have to go to Mecca. So, My Mom, Bude Tati, and I decided to do our Subuh prayer in Nabawi mosque. And after that, we took some photos in front of Nabawi mosque. And taaadaaaaa~~~

In the afternoon, we prepared our belongings. Then we heading to Mecca. But before that, we went to Bir Ali and took miqot. We arrived at Mecca at midnight, and get ready for Umrah. When I entered Masjidil Haram, I can't hold my tears anymore. I saw Ka'bah in front of my eyes, for the first time in my life. Then we did the thawaf, continued with sa'i and tahallul. 

Day 5 - February 10th 2015 (Mecca)
            
         In this day, we spent a whole day in Mecca, to do five times prayer in Masjidil Haram. My Mom, Bude Tati, and I took time to enter Zamzam Tower. We only went to the shopping Centre (First and second floor) in there.

Day 6 - February 11th 2015

            This day is city tour in Mecca. We went to Padang Arafah, Jabal Rahmah, Muzdalifah, Mina, Jabal Tsur, and Ji'ronah mosque. 

Day 7 - February 12th 2015 (Mecca to Jeddah)

           Time flies so fast...This is the last day for us in Mecca. So, it is compulsory for us to do Thawaf Wada', Thawaf Wada' is like saying 'see you soon' to Baitullah. Once we done Thawaf Wada', our Ustadz said that it is better for not entering the Baitullah or Masjidil Haram again. Because we already say 'good bye' by doing Thawaf Wada'. It is quite hard for me to leave this beautiful city. A city which never sleep, A city which always full and crowded. And yes, up until now Masjidil Haram still under renovation. Day 8 - February 13th 2015 (Jeddah)

In Jeddah, we visited laut merah and Masjid Terapung. Near from Masjid Terapung I found bakso!! Oooo my God, I was very happy! Finally I found Yummy-Indonesian food! hahahahaha. And these are our photos in Jeddah

Day 9 - February 14th 2015

Heading to King Abdul Aziz airport. Jeddah to Abudabi, Abudabi to Indonesia.

Alhamdulillahirabbilalamin, my Umrah trip went smoothly. Although there was an obstacle in the beginning because I was menstruating before leaving, but Alhamdulillah after taking medication my periods could stop. See you soon, Baitullah.. I hope I'll be back soon to perform Hajj with my Mom. Aamin ya Rabbalalamin
